Probably our most favorite show is Extreme Makeover Home Edition! We love to see well deserving people blessed by others!! Never before has the show been so close to home, and the fact that we have a friend who lives on that street sharing updates makes it even more exciting. We can't wait to see all that happens!

These Smiles Make Me Happy
We have been enjoying a great summer, but missing our boys in Haiti something fierce! We are so blessed to enjoy being together as a family, to laugh and worship together, to enjoy God's incredible creation, and to struggle together! Thank you Lord for these incredible
blessings!

Boy Scout Camp
This past Sunday N headed off to Boy Scout Camp and last night was Parent's Night! The camp is about 1.5 hours away and he had requested that we bring Subway. Being the good parents we are we got his order on our way out of town thinking, "Surely we will be able to pick something up on the way for ourselves." Well, it didn't quite happen until 11pm when we were on our way home! Lesson learned for next year :-)!
He was so glad to see us and we were thrilled to see him, the camp, and to see all the cool stuff he has been up to! The further we go into the Boy Scout world, the more pleased we are with what he is learning! What a great program to teach these young guys about respect, responsibility, outdoorsmanship, first aid, and on and on. M even wants to be a Boy Scout!
We are so proud of this guy!

The Race Begins!

It has become a tradition in our household for someone to run the annual 5K race and then we enjoy the parade following. Rob runs it every year and at least one child seems to be with him. This year both M and N ran and beat their goals! Great job guys! A group from our housechurch joined us, along with one of M's youth leaders and it made for a really good time! Afterwards, the clouds rolled in while we cooked out and eventually moved the cookout inside when the rain came. No matter- we enjoyed having everyone.
Happy 4th of July!
Oh Yeah! The little girls and I were sitting on the side eating donuts while we watched the race :-)!

COUSINS!

We just had a wonderful week with the cousins ..... and I believe everyone was exhausted by the end of the week too! The great thing about the kids getting older means alot more freedom for the adults, and roller coasters, and dinner out! Thanks for a great time guys! We love you!

SWIM TEAM

I can hardly believe that summer is half over!! It is simply flying by! Living so close to the pool means that we spend alot of time there, especially when you have someone on swim team! A has had a great time this year. She has become a strong swimmer and is able to swim MANY more laps than I could ever dream of! She has worked hard and had a great time! This weekend we have championships and then we are done-- a good thing to because A is really tired and those early morning practices are catching up with her!
